The Beauty of Being a Full-time Housewife

Why do women of today willingly endure industrial or corporate slavery when they have the choice to become great? Yes, they can be great, even greater than wearing a pretentious business suit!

You may ask, where does that woman greatness lie? Well, ladies and women of the world, there is more to boring papers in the office! Be a full-time housewife!

Why so?

A full-time housewife doesn't have to endure endless office works during seemingly endless eight-hour workshifts. She holds time in her bare, unshackled hands. A full-time housewife doesn't have to suffer lack of sleep by staying up late to deal with family needs then waking up early to deal with work demands. She deals with family and then sleep as much as she likes afterwards! A full-time housewife doesn't have to worry about juggling schedules for work, children, husband and self. She has all the time and love for her hard-working husband, and all the chance to share wisdom to her children. She has less wrinkles because she knows she has prioritized what matters most. And she takes breaks at the parlor, sometimes spa. A full-time housewife is not unemployed, for she employs herself to focus her time, attention and talent to the most important things in life. She is her own boss. She does what she thinks is best, and most of the time, gets the best in return. A full-time housewife's job description is more complicated than that of CEOs. It's so cool because it covers everything... from laundy to magazine subscriptions to online shopping to customer (guests) service to food handling and preparation. See? It will take a smart, creative, humble, kind-hearted woman to efficiently fulfill a full-time housewife's duty. Such characteristics and qualifications are not found in just about any woman. It is the husband's duty to do the screening, selection and recruitment to find the most fit full-time housewife for his kingdom.

On the lighter side, a full-time housewife has great and wonderful chances to have fun and enjoy. She has all the time in the world to watch all the TV shows she wants. She may read books, blog, cook, watch movies, paint, draw, play the piano or guitar or violin or flute and do many other marvelous things all at her pleasure. She has all the time and space to indulge in creativity in everything under the sun that she wishes. She can invent food, bake and design cakes, do scrapbooking, attend book club meetings, do online shopping, enjoy facebooking longer than normal, travel to other places, play with the children and stay in the parlor longer than those busy corporate women. She runs at her own schedule, at her own trip and at her own mood. That is very impossible for corporate women who runs at the company's schedule, at the company's order and at the company's mood and needs. So stressful! A full-time housewife may not be always stress-free, but she always has the opportunity to have fun and enjoy. It's a wonderful mix of challenging responsibilities and sweet rewards and opportunities.

In the modern world where career and bank balances define a woman, there is a unique and matchless beauty and prestige in being a full-time housewife. Most people may look at it differently. Many housewives are treated as no more that 'housechore slaves'. Many of them suffer insecurity from the disrespect and misunderstanding that they get from the society. But these should not stop housewives from letting the world know how wonderful job and purpose they fulfill. The choice of being a full-time housewife is an act of selflessness against the call of ambition and self-exaltation. It is beyond any position in a prestigious company. It is beyond the high-paying salaries or the glamorous lifestyle. It is beyond their selves. It is the call of duty of women, a choice of patriotism for the family. It is a slice of the meaning of womanhood. It is purpose!

A true woman shines most by being a loving wife and an exemplary mother. An eight-hour workday usually takes all of these from a woman. But of course, all these beautiful illusions can only be made possible through finding an exceptionally patient, understanding and abudantly-providing husband of a partner. As we all know, such kind of men are getting rarer and rarer. So most women just prefer to work. Darn the call of duty and purpose!
